The ingredients needed to make Lauki ki Sabji:
  1. Take 2 cup louki
  2. Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  3. Take Oil as required
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. Take 1 tsp chilli powder
  6. Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
  7. Prepare 1 onion
  8. Make ready 1 tomato
  9. Get 2 cloves
  10. Take 1 cinnamon
  11. Make ready 3 pepper corns
  12. Make ready 1 red chilli
  13. Prepare Water as needed
  14. Take leaves Coriander

Steps to make Lauki ki Sabji:
  1. Heat oil in a pressure pan or cooker, add cumin seeds, red chilli, cloves, cinnamon and peppercorns.When cumin seeds sizzles, add finely chopped onions, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
  2. Saute until onions turn golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder.
  3. Cook until tomatoes become soft. Add chopped bottle gourd, mix well so that it is well coated with the masala.
  4. Add 2 cups of water, salt needed and pressure cook for 2 or 3 whistles.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or parathas.
