For our famous BBQ on Australia Day, this is my lamb marinade recipe.   3. Prepare 1/2 Carrot
  4. Make ready 1/2 Onion
  5. Prepare 1/4 Capsicum
  6. Get *Note: Use any vegetables of your choice. Green Bean, Asparagus, Bean Sprouts, Spring Onion, Asian Green Vegetables, etc
  7. Prepare 1/2 tablespoon Oil for cooking
  8. Get Salt & Pepper
  9. Get 2 Servings Freshly Cooked Rice
  10. Get Toasted Sesame Seeds
  11. Make ready <Marinade>
  12. Prepare 1 clove Garlic *grated
  13. Take 1 small piece Ginger *grated
  14. Get 1/2 Apple *grated
  15. Get 1 teaspoon Toban Djan (Chili Bean Sauce)
  16. Take 1 & 1/2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  17. Prepare 1 tablespoon Mirin *OR 1 teaspoon Sugar

Instructions to make ’Jingisukan’ Lamb Rice Bowl:
  1. Combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Slice Lamb Meat into thin bite size pieces. Add to the marinade and mix to combine well. Set aside while you are preparing vegetables.
  3. The vegetables should be sliced and/or cut into bite size pieces.
  4. Heat Oil in a frying pan over a medium high heat, stir-fry the vegetables and lightly season with Salt & Pepper. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  5. Heat the frying pan over a high heat, add extra small amount of Oil if required, cook the lamb meat with all the marinade until cooked though and the sauce is thickened.
  6. Half fill a bowl with freshly cooked rice, cover with the stir-fried vegetables and the lamb on top. Sprinkle with some Toasted Sesame Seeds.
