  1. Add oil to a frying pan, season the spare ribs with salt & pepper, and grill them in the frying pan until both sides are evenly browned.
  2. Transfer the spare ribs to the pressure cooker, and add the ☆ ingredients.

Once it comes to a boil and the weight starts to move, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes (if your pressure cooker has a " high" or "low" pressure setting, use the "high" setting).   4. Remove the lid, and simmer over medium heat until the sauce reduces and thickens (it will take about 10 minutes).
