The ingredients needed to make Butter Chicken with Saffron Rice. 😁:
  1. Make ready Chicken………………..
  2. Make ready 6 tbls Butter
  3. Make ready 1.600 g chicken breast cut into cube shaped 1 inch
  4. Make ready 1 yellow onion diced
  5. Make ready 3 Cloves garlic minced
  6. Prepare 1 tbls garam masala
  7. Take 1 tbls grated fresh ginger
  8. Make ready 1 tsp Chilli powder
  9. Take 1 tsp Cumin
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  11. Get 1 + 1/2 tomato sauce or 1 can crushed tomatoes
  12. Prepare 2 Cups cream, or 1 cream + 1 water
  13. Take to taste Salt n pepper
  14. Prepare Lime and cilantro for garnish
  15. Take Naan and Rice for serving
  16. Make ready Saffron Rice(i use Basmati)……………
  17. Get Add 1 tsp butter or oil
  18. Take 1 tbls chopped onion to a sauce pan with a little oil or butter
  19. Prepare Add the onion and stir. After a minute add the rice and veg stoc
  20. Get When near to end add the saffron stir in and cover and simmer

Instructions to make Butter Chicken with Saffron Rice. 😁:
  1. Using 2 Tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the pieces of the chicken so each side is browned. They do not need to be fully cooked all the way through. Work in batches, and set aside when you’re done.
  2. Melt another 2 Tbsp of butter in the pan over medium heat. Add the onion, and cook until beginning to soften β€” about three minutes. Add the garlic, garam masala, ginger, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne. Stir to combine, and cook for about 45 seconds before adding the tomato sauce.
  3. Tomato sauce all mixed.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let cook for five minutes add the cream. Bring the mixture back to a simmer, add the browned chicken, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes. Keep the heat low here β€” not on boiling.
  5. Stir the remaining two tbls butter and add salt n pepper to taste.
  6. Add a little oil to a saucepan add the chopped onion fry for a little then add the rice and veg stock. And stir bring to the boil then simmer
  7. Serve garnished with lime and cilantro along with rice and naan bread.
  8. Saffron added to rice.mix in.
