The ingredients needed to make Cinnamon rolls:
  1. Make ready Rolls
  2. Prepare 2 tablespoons sugar
  3. Get 1.5 teaspoons yeast
  4. Take 2 tablespoons melted butter
  5. Get 1 egg
  6. Take 250 ml milk
  7. Prepare 375 g flour
  8. Take For the glaze
  9. Prepare 100 g icing sugar
  10. Prepare 2 tablespoons melted butter
  11. Prepare 25 ml milk (can be adjusted)

Instructions to make Cinnamon rolls:
  1. Put one tablespoon of sugar and half the milk (lukewarm) in a bowl and stir then add the yeast and let it sit for about 8 min to bloom.
  2. Add in the melted butter, egg, remaining sugar and flour into the same bowl after the yeast has been activated (bloomed) and mix to combine.
  3. Knead for a few minutes and transfer the dough to a lightly dusted surface and knead for about 7 minutes.
  4. Leave the dough to rest in an oiled bowl, cover with a cling film for about an hour to rise.
  5. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Dust your surface and roll out the dough. Apply butter on the top surface then spread the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture on top
  6. Fold starting from the longer side of your dough.
  7. Cut the dough in equal sizes using a knife and arrange the rolls in a baking tin or baking tray.
  8. Let them rest for about 35 minutes. They will have increased in volume.
  9. Brush the top with butter and bake at 200°C for 25 minutes.
  10. For the glaze mix melted butter with icing sugar add milk to lighten the consistency and pour over the rolls while still warm. Enjoy
