  2. Make ready 1 Onion *finely chopped
  3. Take 1/2 cup 'Panko' Bread Crumbs

  5. Prepare 1 tablespoon Parsley *finely chopped
  6. Get Salt & Pepper as required
  7. Prepare 2-3 tablespoons Potato Starch Flour
  8. Prepare 2 tablespoons Oil
  9. Prepare 1 cup Beef Stock *Water 1 cup and Beef Stock Cube
  10. Make ready 1/4-1/3 cup Tomato Ketchup
  11. Prepare 2-3 tablespoons 'Tonkatsu' Sauce *or Worcestershire Sauce

Steps to make Stewed Hamburgers:
  1. Combine Beef Mince, finely chopped Onion, Panko, Egg and finely chopped Parsley. Season with Salt & Pepper and form into 8 patties.
  2. Coat the patties with Potato Starch Flour very well. This will create jelly like layer around the humburgers and thicken the sauce.
  3. Heat Oil in a frying pan over low to medium heat, brown the burgers on both sides. The insides can be still raw at this stage.
  4. Add Beef Stock, Tomato Ketchup and Tonkatsu Sauce and mix the liquid ingredients well, then cover with a lid and cook, occasionally turning, for ten minutes or until cooked through and the sauce is thickened.
