The ingredients needed to make Turkey and cheese enchiladas:
  1. Make ready 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  2. Take 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp onion powder
  4. Make ready 1 tbsp garlic powder
  5. Get 1 tbsp cumin powder
  6. Get 1 tbsp chili powder
  7. Get 1 tsp salt
  8. Take 2 cups water
  9. Get 8 oz ground turkey
  10. Prepare 1 pkg taco seasoning
  11. Take 12 mission yellow extra thin corn tortilla
  12. Take 1/2 cup shredded velveeta cheese

The filling is simple, with just shredded turkey, cheese and a cup of onions. This Two-Cheese Turkey Enchiladas recipe is a Southwest favorite for Shelly Platten of Amherst, Wisconsin whe. Crumble turkey into a large nonstick skillet; add the onion, green pepper, brown sugar and seasonings. Cook and stir over medium heat until turkey is no longer pink.

Instructions to make Turkey and cheese enchiladas:
  1. Cook ground turkey and add taco seasoning and set aside.
  2. In a pot heat oil and flour together making a roux, slowly add in your onion, garlic, chili, cumin and salt into the roux. Once the roux is combined add the water and continue mixing until it becomes thicker. Set aside.
  3. Dip the tortillas in the sauce and add turkey and cheese and roll the tortilla placing it in an oven safe dish. Continue rolling all the tortillas. Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for about 20 min.

Crumble turkey into a large nonstick skillet; add the onion, green pepper, brown sugar and seasonings. Cook and stir over medium heat until turkey is no longer pink. Add cream cheese and stir until well incorporated. Simmer for a few minutes longer. Turkey enchiladas are made with leftover turkey, cheese, sour cream, and tortillas.
