The ingredients needed to make Malteser cheesecake:
  1. Make ready 200 g Malted milk biscuits (crushed)
  2. Prepare 100 g Salted butter (melted)
  3. Prepare 5 tbsp Caster sugar
  4. Take 2 x 300g tubs of full fat soft cheese (Philadelphia is best)
  5. Get 300 ml Double cream
  6. Make ready 300 g White chocolate (melted)
  7. Make ready 200 g milk chocolate (melted)
  8. Get 2 tbsp malt or Horlicks powder
  9. Get 37 g White maltesers (decoration)

Instructions to make Malteser cheesecake:
  1. Line base and sides of a deep 22-23cm loose bottomed round tin with baking parchment.
  2. Mix biscuits, melted butter and 2tbsp of sugar then press into base. Chill whilst you make the filling.
  3. Divide the cream cheese and double cream evenly between two bowls. In one bowl, add the melted white chocolate. In the other bowl, add the melted milk chocolate, malt powder and the remaining 3tbsp of sugar. Beat each bowl with electric whisk until smooth.
  4. Spread the milk chocolate mixture evenly in the tin. Wipe around the edge.
  5. Spoon the white chocolate mixture over the top and gently smooth.
  6. Decorate with maltesers and chill for at least 5 hours.
