  1. Make ready Beetroot grated
  2. Prepare coconut grated
  3. Make ready Sugar
  4. Prepare Ghee
  5. Get cardmom powder
  6. Make ready condensed milk
  7. Get mawa
  8. Make ready milk powder
  9. Make ready crushed peanut chikki

Instructions to make Beetroot Mawa Burfi:
  1. Mix the grated coconut with beetroot.
  2. With the ghee fry it till the raw smell goes.
  3. Now add the sugar and now the sugar will melt and mixture thickens. Add the cardmom powder.
  4. In a greased pan, add the thickeed mixture and let it set.
  5. Melt the condensed milk in pan.. Add the mawa to it (I used the same pan as beetroot, hence the colour is pink)
  6. Add the milk powder to it and milk it to form a uniform lump free paste and let it thicken and separate out of the pan.
  7. Add this mixture to top of the earlier set beetroot barfi.
  8. Spread it uniformly and cut it into diamonds.
  9. Top it further with the crushed chikki. Let it cool down. Once cooled.. Take it out slowly.. Without breaking.
